I loved this book! It drew me in from the first chapter and I couldn’t put it down until I turned the last page, other than to send teasers to my Facebook page. I loved the characters. Their story was an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Everyone sees Nora as the perfect, innocent, rich girl, but she has scars and things she hides from the world. When Leo meets Nora they have an instant connection. Their story makes the reader believe in soul mates and destiny. A beautiful love story with hot and steamy romance. Loved it and can not wait to find out who will star in the next Briarcrest Academy book.

REVIEW:

I loved this book! I’m a fan of Larissa Ione’s Demonica series and was excited when I saw she was releasing a new vampire series. She created a unique new world where vampires and humans are at war with each other and humans have enslaved vampires. I was completely pulled into this story. Riker, a sexy vampire, hates Nicole’s family and when he captures Nicole, the human CEO of a company that experiments and trains vampire slaves, he doesn’t want to be attracted to her and he definitely doesn’t want her to change is perception of her. They both have to overcome a lot of prejudices and misconceptions. There chemistry and passion can not be denied and they end up fighting for each other. I loved both the main characters and the secondary characters in this book. Larissa Ione creates characters that really leave an impression on the reader and left me wanting additional stories for the secondary characters. This was a unique, sexy and hot paranormal romance. I can not wait for the next book in this series and I highly recommend this book for paranormal romance lovers!

REVIEW:

I love this series! Lynsay Sands always delivers fun and sexy romance. Jake is a a reluctant vampire. He was turned to save his life, but never wanted to be a vampire. Nicole is in danger and matchmaking Marguerite decides to send Jake to secretly play bodyguard and protect Nicole. I really enjoyed Jake and Nicole’s story. Their chemistry heated up the pages. This series is on my must have list and I highly recommend it for paranormal romance lovers.

I grabbed the first book in The Alpha Group Trilogy when I saw it was on sale for 99 Cents. I devoured the first book and quickly bought the second and third book so I could finish Sebastian and Sofia’s story. Their story is full of intrigue, danger, and smoking hot romance. I loved it! Sebastian Lock is a sexy and possessive billionaire who is full of secrets. Sofia is an intelligent and funny attorney who makes Sebastian forget all his rules. I recommend getting all three books and reading back to back because they are one continuous story. I’ll be keeping an eye out for future books from Maya Cross.

I somehow completely missed this book when it came out. I saw that Cage, the second book in the series, was releasing and went to buy the first book because Cage sounded awesome, only to realize I already had it on my Kindle waiting for me to read. I loved Axel! I read it from start to finish, losing sleep last night. This is a great love story about overcoming tragedy and finding happiness. Lots of danger, suspense, hot ex-marines and smoking hot romance. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read the second book, Cage, today. I loved Greg Cage in Axel and I’m so happy he’s getting his own story.

CORI’s REVIEW:

I just finished reading Styxx and I’m an emotional mess. I cried, I cried some more, and I was left with happy tears and a smile when I reached the last page. This story really touched my heart. If you read Acheron, then like me you probably hated Styxx. When Sherrilyn Kenyon announced she was writing Styxx’s story and explained that there were two sides to every story and we didn’t know Styxx, I had no idea what how right she was. Styxx’s story is heart wrenching. I’m still an emotional wreck and this is a story that stay with me. Sherrilyn Kenyon always creates a vivid and descriptive world and characters that touch the reader, but she out did herself with this book. It has become my favorite and that is saying something coming from a huge Kenyon and Dark-Hunter fan. I’m leaving a lot out of this review because I don’t want to give anything away about the characters because of how Styxx has been betrayed in previous books. I’ll just say I loved it and that this story will affect you.

DONNA’S REVIEW:

I just finished the book and loved how it illustrated how each person has a different view on the same event. Perception and preconceived ideas color us all. Sherrilyn Kenyon wove a story about love’s joys and trials, not just between lovers, but friends and family also. They all touched me in some way and their world will stay with me for some time. Even though Cori reviewed this book, I rated this book a 5 also and liked it more than Acheron.

She graduated summa cum laude with a master’s in English from an esteemed university in the South where she now resides. She spends her days with two small kids, a neurotic cat, and her Viking husband. She collects magnets and rarely cooks except to bake her own pretzels.

REVIEW:

I loved Sealed With a Purr! Celia Kyle is one of my go to authors for funny and sexy romance. Her books always put me in a good mood. This is book 6 in the Ridgeville Series and Harding’s story. Harding has only been mentioned a couple times in the previous books and I didn’t remember much about him other than he guarded Maya, the Prima. I loved Harding! He’s strong, protective and sexy. He is reluctantly sent to guard women that have been rescued and meets his mate, Tess. They are both survivors of an abusive past and their story was really emotional for me to read. Celia Kyle also gave us an update on characters from her previous books and we find out the names of the twins. I loved this addition to the series and can’t wait for the next book!

The Love at Stake Series is a fun and sexy paranormal series. Hot vampires in kilts with sexy accents. Yummy! The Vampire With the Dragon Tattoo is Dougal Kincaid’s story. When Leah is hired and he sees her on the surveillance camera for the first time his dragon tattoo burns and he feels an instant connection to her. Leah wants nothing to do with anything supernatural, but has trouble resisting Dougal even if he is a vampire. I enjoyed their story and look forward to the next book in the series. Kerrelyn Sparks is on my automatic buy list. I recommend this book and this series for paranormal lovers.

REVIEW:

I started this book and then had to go back and read the first book and the novella to fully understand the story. I recommend reading the series in order.This one was difficult for me to review. The characters are intense and I kept thinking that they would be redeemed, but that wasn’t what the story was about. This is a love triangle about three messed up people and there is no clear choice on who should end up together. That said I really enjoyed the stories and will be reading the next one when it comes out. I love characters that really make me feel and think. If you are looking for something intense, I recommend this series. Shooting Scars has a great plot with lots of twists and turns. You’ll be thinking about the story long after you put it down.
