I am a fan of the Bell Sound series. That quirky town is filled with odd but endearing people. Their antics and interactions with each other make me smile and laugh out-loud. Thank heavens they were there for this touching story. It is my favorite by far and I wish I could rate it higher. My first sight of Jacob reached in deep and grabbed a hold of my heart. His reunion with Sally – and his sons – was hard to read, but so perfect. I’m glad Sally was strong and independent while still loving and fun. It was perfect. Yes, they both made mistakes, held secrets, as well as holding part of themselves back. Of course, they did! The situation was something that no one could just erase. I laughed, teared up, and sighed. I loved it all.

Doesn’t matter if it’s divorce, death, despair, time travel, loneliness, boredom or plain old dissatisfaction, readers want to know that there is a chance for…yep, new beginnings.

One of the greatest gifts we have in this world is to find work we love, which is appreciated by others. I have been especially blessed in that regard.

Leave it to Sandra Hill to provide a fun escape from reality. Bell Sound is one of those places that I want to live in, just so I can sit back and watch all the wacky people and laugh. I was surprised that Merrill, brilliant former Navy SEAL, would choose to move there…but I’m glad he did. He and his salvage crew added a nice layer to the craziness around them. Delilah had a checkered past, colorful grandmother, and a precocious daughter that kept her tied up in knots. I liked her determination, strength and vulnerability. She made a perfect match for Merrill. Was it a little predictable? Yes. But it was an all-around enjoyable romance that left me smiling. I can’t wait for the next one!

I just love Sandra Hill’s Cajun series, and this one lived up to the rest. It was fun, zany and sexy. I admit that Adam came across as a bit crass in the very beginning, but I soon got to know him, and really liked him. It was fun watching Simone go through her Cajun crazy, surrounded by interesting characters and all of them being chased by Tante Lulu. It’s a fast-paced story that left me smiling.

What a fun book! If you like your romance mixed with some quirky Cajun charm, then this one does the trick. I am glad that the author kept it fun, without going overboard into slapstick mayhem. Daniel and Samantha made such a good pair, I liked them both immediately. All the family and friends around them made me wish I lived in New Orleans with them. This book is one I couldn’t put down, smoothly written, sprinkled with romance, hot sex, danger and lots of smiles and laughter. I loved it.

Another fun Vangel story. I wasn’t sure how Cnut’s story would pan out and I never saw the time travel part of it coming. Normally I don’t like the whole time travel thing but this worked. Andrea was a perfect match for him and I liked how their relationship progressed with everything going on around them. Michael and Zeb had big roles in this story and parts tugged at my heartstrings but I won’t give anything away in my review. Sandra Hill dove in and delivered a fast paced, action driven and sexy story filled with the comedic banter we’ve come to love. I sure hope the next one comes soon because it will be a doozy.

I’m obsessed with Jasper and I’m obsessed with the rest of the special ops guys that will be getting their own books later. M. Leighton will rip your heart out, shred it and then sew it back up and hand it back to you all repaired by the end of the book. Jasper and Muse’s book is an emotional, beautiful and scorching hot love story. This is a standalone book and each book in the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series will be about a different member of a special ops team. I recommend you grab a copy of Strong Enough and fall in love with Jasper. Book 2 releases soon and I loved it even more!

I adored this book! I Want You To Want Me was the perfect mix of emotional, fun and hot romance. It’s a rock star romance with a HEA ending. This is the second book in Erika Kelly’s Rock Star Romance Series, but each book can be read as a standalone. They each feature a band mate. I recommend both books. They’re beautiful love stories that will stick with you long after you close the books. Erika Kelly is an author to watch and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

imageRide Steady: Chaos Series by Kristen Ashley

I LOVED this book! Loved it! Ride Steady is book 3 in Kristen Ashley’s Chaos Series. Each book can be read as a standalone but if you’d like to read them in order I’d actually start with Motorcycle Man which is the last book in the Dream Man Series and then read the Chaos Series. I love Kristen Ashley’s writing style and her books always make me feel great. They are books I pick up if I need an escape and want a book I know I’m going to enjoy and have fun reading. Ride Steady is Joker’s book and Kristen Ashley made me fall in love with him. It’s a beautiful love story and I experienced a full range of emotions reading it. I can’t say enough good things about it.  Grab it, then devour it and fall in love with Joker!

I’m a huge Dark-Hunter fan and I’m so excited about the new twists in the series storyline. Dragonbane is Max’s story and if you’re a fan of the series you know he’s remained a bit of mystery. We get all the details in his book and we get more dragons! Max and Seraphina’s story is full of heartbreak, danger, mystery and hot romance. If you’re a fan of the series you will love Dragonbane and if you’re new to the series I would recommend you start at the beginning to fully enjoy it. Each book has a HEA ending for different couples but the series needs to be read in order to fully appreciate the characters and series plot. The Dark-Hunter series keeps getting better and no one weaves a story like Sherrilyn Kenyon.

imageCAGED MAGIC: A Wing Slayer Novel by Jennifer Lyon

When Jennifer Lyon announced that she was going to write Linc’s book to say I was excited would be an understatement. I ‘girly squeeled’ and then went to Facebook and Twitter and told everyone they needed to read this series if they hadn’t read it. It’s one of those series I tell everyone they should read because I just love it so much and I obsessed with characters. The Wing Slayer series is a hot paranormal romance series with swoon-worthy protective alpha males and their witches. I’m so happy Jennifer Lyon has picked up the series again and decided to self publish it. The series will be rele-releasing next month so if you’re new you’ll have a chance to start at the beginning.

image imageToo Hard to Handle – Black Knights Inc by Julie Ann Walker

Granted I love the smoking hot romance and the natural chemistry of the couple but you add the danger and covert ops surrounding it and you have a winner in my book. Black Knights Inc is one of my favorite series because of how the group interacts with each other. Their lighthearted banter amidst the danger just feels natural, like they’ve been together for a long time and seen it all. I get a feeling that I am a part of them and that belonging stays with me long after the book is done.

This offbeat paranormal romance series got me from the start. Viking-Vampire-Angels, how can you get better than that! I love how they all work and live together effortlessly as a group. They have me laughing one minute and sighing the next, all while the battles rage on around them. Even the bad guys are fun to read as they have their own group dynamic. The fighting can be intense and some heartfelt moments will grab a hold of you but the romance is smoking hot and so much fun.

imageHard to Let Go: A Hard Ink Novel by Laura Kaye

This Hard Ink group works so well together despite their different personalities. I love their rough edges but heartfelt caring all the while hell rains on them and they cope with a wise-cracking teamwork. I feel like I know them and care about each and every one. This installment was a wild ride and the romance was so darn hot that I had to fan myself. This book held me tight in its grip long after I was done reading….literally, for days.

image Another fun Vangel installment full of the Viking camaraderie I’ve grown to love with Michael joining in (in an angelic way of course). Even the evil Lucipires have the group dynamic that makes you hate and enjoy them at the same time. I didn’t warm up to Harek right away but that stands to reason due to his sin but boy did I warm up later. Camille was the perfect match for him – of course – and her WEAL training made her more than capable when facing the dangers to come. It was sexy hot and fun with the terrorist/demon angle making it exciting. Another winner for me and I cannot wait for the next book. The last of the VIK’s and it should be a good one.

Doesn’t matter if it’s divorce, death, despair, time travel, loneliness, boredom or plain old dissatisfaction, readers want to know that there is a chance for…yep, new beginnings.

One of the greatest gifts we have in this world is to find work we love, which is appreciated by others. I have been especially blessed in that regard.

Ms. Hill once again brings a fun hot Vangel story that I had to finish in one sitting. How can I not like a Viking Vampire Angel? An almost wacky twist on a vampire story that once again pulled me into their world from page one. I was curious how Sig’s story would go since his deadly sin is envy but I needn’t have worried. Marissa is a strong woman desperate to help her child by any means and it takes Sigurd’s stubbornness to counter that determination. A perfect match made in heaven. This story had all the elements I’ve come to love in her books. Danger, slimy bad guys, laughter and hot romance. Sig and Marisa’s story also made me tear up a few times, which is a testament as to how far I was pulled into the story and how much I liked them. The only bad part of this book is having to wait until the next one.

For the first time ever, the leader of the Viking Vampire Angels, Vikar Sigurdsson, has been talked into celebrating a traditional Christmas! The tree has been decorated, the gifts have been wrapped, and the stockings have been hung. And that’s mistletoe, not cobwebs, hanging from the ceiling of the creepy castle full of vangels … really!

The icing on the vampire cookie comes when vangel Karl Mortensen rescues Faith Larson, a battered young waitress, from her abusive boyfriend and hides her in the castle amidst the Christmas chaos. But what Karl thought was a frail young teenager is actually a very tempting woman. And she thinks his fangs are sexy!

But a strange “Christmas visitor” at the castle and demon vampires up to their old tricks could threaten the budding romance between Karl and Faith. It’s an impossible match—a human and a vangel—but Christmas is a time for magic.

This is a fun little story that will be enjoyed by Vangel fans or those new to their world. I really liked Karl and Faith turned out to be a perfect match for him. As always, the camaraderie between the Vangels and the showcasing of their different personalities makes me smile. This is a funny and hot romance with just enough action to keep you turning the pages. I only wish it were longer.
