This is Laney and Jakes story and I absolutely loved it! Laney’s first kiss was from sexy Jake four years ago before she left town for college. Jake was the wild child in the area who drank, dated, and partied. All of the things Laney never did. She was the preacher’s perfect daughter. At least until she caught her fiancé cheating on her with her best friend. Laney returned to town to help settle Jake’s family estate. Jake never forgot about beautiful Laney and when she shows up he knows he will stop at nothing to have her. The attraction was obvious right away. The passion between these two nearly shorted out my kindle. Hot! Hot! Hot! Laney’s parents wanted her back with her fiancé without knowing the whole story. Jake didn’t think he was good enough to give Laney the life she deserved, but Laney knew no one would ever be able to measure up to Jake. Would their passion be enough? Grab a copy if you’re looking for a steamy romance. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.
