A lovely addition to the Want You series. It is a light enjoyable romance filled with witty dialogue that made me smile from the start. I admit, I was afraid it would be the standard frenemies story where they fight their attraction until the end….was I ever wrong. Their relationship progressed at a nice believable pace as they worked through their previous misconceptions while navigating family and business issues. I was also pleased to see that it wasn’t bogged down in sports lingo, giving their different lifestyles a chance to merge. I truly enjoyed this sexy romance and can only hope for more to come.

I enjoyed this installment in the Alaska Force series, though it did not blow me away. Isaac was the hero I wanted to get lost in, yet in some ways the story fell short. I scored it a 4 because yes, it took me on a fun ride, but I just didn’t believe Isaac’s feelings for Caradine. She was far too caustic, secretive, and pushed him away too much to believe his growing love. The reason for her hiding did not make sense. I don’t want to give away the mystery, so will not voice the parts that made me say “what?” on more than one occasion. Now that I said that, I did have fun with the Alaska Force team. Their group camaraderie is easy and believable, and the Alaskan community is a place that I would love to live. Combine those things with a thrilling suspenseful drama, and you have an enjoyable book.

I love a quick action-packed story, and this Harlequin Intrigue delivered. I was a little worried about Laura’s uptight behavior in the beginning, but she quickly warmed up with the help of Jace. They weren’t exactly opposites, but their individual strengths worked well together and made the sexy romance believable. This story is a fun ongoing mystery that kept me guessing. I love when there are so many suspects, incidents, and underlying intrigues. A perfect summer read.

I loved this book! Erika Kelly is on my must read list because she never disappoints me. CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is the sixth book in Erika Kelly’s Calamity Falls Series. The Calamity Falls was previously called the Bad Boyfriend Series and some of the books in this series have new titles in case you have been following The Bad Boyfriend Series and see new books titles out there, they are the same books. I love the entire series and recommend them. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone.

CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE had everything I look for in a great romance with passion, a swoony hero, a great heroine I could cheer for and some humor. I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want it to end. Erika Kelly always gives me a great love story with all the feels. I highly recommend this new release or any of her previous books.

This book was filled with a lot of action and suspense. The storyline involving her mother and father, her business competitor, and the paparazzi was stretching it a bit, and seemed thrown together. Even how Lexi and Ryder met made me wonder if the author had a bunch of small scenes she had laying around and just threw them together.

I did like how all the characters interacted and the defined friendships, even pulling in the Silver Town Pack. Lexi and Ryder were likeable, but their relationship fell a bit flat, I never felt their growing love and commitment. It wasn’t one of my favorites of Terry Spear’s, but it was a fast and fun read.

I loved the unique premise of this story, four strong sexy men trying to keep their adoptive mom’s knitting shop open. How could I pass that up? Jesse is the classic wanderer of the brothers; in that he never keeps a job or woman for long. Not a good reputation when he wants to convince his brothers to keep the shop open and capture the heart of a good woman. Kerry has known the brothers all her life, spending a lot of time with them in the shop. I liked her, but couldn’t understand why she was short-tempered with Jesse, yet he became so attracted to her – physically and emotionally. I’m one that has to believe the attraction. The physical part of the romance was mostly behind closed doors, so I wish the author had shown more emotional closeness in their actions and not just in their inner thoughts.

I liked Kerry and Jesse’s story and hope his brothers get their own, especially the crabby and secretive Damian.

This spin-off from the SWAT series promises to be a lot of fun. International intrigue, inspired danger, espionage, romance, and sex. The fast-paced action was not dimmed by the normal world-building in a new series, it flowed nicely as the newly formed group got to know each other. I only have one tiny issue. Jestina was a trained operative thrust into the world of supernatural creatures, then put into a team of werewolves to help combat the bad creatures. Why was she not trained or informed about werewolf physiology and behavior prior to joining the team? That seemed like a misstep to me.

I liked Jestina and understood her being uncomfortable around a pack of werewolves, I also liked that she was smart enough to learn and overcome her issues. She is smart, strong and kick-ass. Jake is the ultimate alpha and hero for this story. The classic strong hero with a heart of gold. They are both well matched and their complex personalities easily shine through during the story. I also enjoyed the new group they’re forming, each getting to know their teammates and learning to trust one another. I look forward to the next installment!

The Remington Medical series is one of my favorites because of the interplay between all the characters. The interesting storylines showcase their personalities and how they lean on each other when needed. Granted, I always think the one I’m reading is the best…but Beyond Just Us truly was. I love how the couple met; it had the romance/fate thing down perfectly. Tess was relatable to me, (even though her offer to Declan took me by surprise) she’s strong and intelligent, with a soft vulnerability that is nice. Then there is Declan…a warrior with his own vulnerable heart. He was strong, caring, and sexy as all get-out. Their relationship amid the drama played out in a lovely, romantic way. This sexy romance made me smile and at times tear up from beginning to end. Now I can’t stop thinking about it. This book can be read as a stand-alone novel, but you don’t want to miss out on books 1-3. All I can do now is anxiously await book 5!

I enjoyed this contemporary/ fantasy romance. The here-and-now world anchors the reader while filling it with mystical healers, Atlanteans and time travelers. This is my first-time reading Ms. Chapman and this series. I managed to keep up with the characters and their world, but I strongly suggest reading from book one. It would have helped me understand relationships and feuds better.

Katy is a strong and determined woman, but her vulnerability pokes through to give her depth, I didn’t really understand some of her reactions – not enough to detract from relating to her but made me frown a bit. She and the handsome Gunnar made a nice pair. Flirting one minute and bantering the next, finally getting to the point where they both are ready to be together. The romance is more about getting to know each other beyond the attraction, rather than lustful. I liked that. The author’s writing style pulled me in to a new world of characters, so that I now need to purchase books 1 through 6, while waiting for number 8.

Donna review 4.5 stars

I enjoyed this introduction to Butterfly Bayou. It had all the tension, romance and sexiness that I like in a story. It’s listed as a contemporary romance, but it has enough suspense to go either way. I didn’t connect with Lila for a while, wondering what Armie saw in her. Thankfully that changed soon enough, helping me understand her past and present so I could become invested in them both, as well as Armie’s daughter. Then of course he did something stupid and I wanted to shake some sense into him. All part of the story arc and I was in there for it all. This book was nicely written without a ton of back info on the town to bog it down. I look forward to reading book two.
