An action packed and suspenseful story involving two likeable characters. Dax is an alpha male with a soft edge to him and Hannah is strong while still being vulnerable. I liked that there was no drawn-out drama of trying to convince her to accept help or accept the demands of his job. It was a hot romance with a dangerous edge that I found very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this romantic love story that involved one of my favorite characters in the series.  Jeremy is fun, flirty and irreverent which I love. Meanwhile Charlie is sweet but a bit introverted, more comfortable with computers than people. They make a great couple and find that they are not so different after all. Fun, romantic and sexy but way too short. I loved it.

I liked the story, but it lacked depth and was rather short. I would consider this a novella more than a novel but it did manage to tie up a few loose ends and deliver information that is sure to be in future books. I just think Jon would have warranted something more especially since he found such a fun mate. I have to add that I loved the Grandma. Overall I did enjoy it and hope that future books aren’t so short.

A very enjoyable romance between two strong willed people.  AJ seemed like every woman’s perfect man and I think I fell in love with him pretty early on.  I didn’t warm up to Darcy as much but then again, that was her character and the story around that flowed great.  I like that she wasn’t perfect and that she had physical obstacles to overcome, it made the journey memorable.  I’ve not read the other books in the series but felt like I knew the people around them and their long standing relationships.  Now I’ll have to get the rest of the books and read them too.  Overall a hot romance about overcoming obstacles and taking a chances.

AJ held the door open for Darcy, doing his best to keep his tongue in his mouth, but he wasn’t sure he quite managed.
“Thanks,” she said, brushing up against his arm and shoulder as she stepped into the elevator.
His free hand came out to stabilize her, a purely instinctual move. He didn’t give a thought to the fact that she hated to be helped because he couldn’t give a thought to anything.
Holy. Shit. Hotness.
Her little black dress—emphasis on little—just about killed him.. The bodice was short, snug, and, at first glance, modest.
Second glance, not so much.
She bent over and fiddled with her heels, which had a strap around her ankle and screamed SEX. So did the way the hem of her dress rose up on her thighs, high enough that his eyes nearly popped right out of his head. “What are you doing?” he managed.
“Nothing.” Still bent at the waist, she shifted to her other heel, during which time he pressed his fingers into his eye sockets to keep his eyes in his head.
She was all leg and silken skin and crazy gorgeous hair, and he attempted to steel himself against her but he failed. He’d been wrong, oh so very wrong when he said he’d be able to handle her. He couldn’t, not in her yoga pants, not in a sexy little black dress, not at work, not in his truck, not in an elevator, not in anything anywhere—he couldn’t do it, Sam I Am.
She straightened and sent him a searching look. She’d piled all that long curly hair on top of her head but several silky strands had escaped, brushing her temples and shoulders, giving her a just-got-laid look. Her lips were siren red and he knew it made him a pig, but all he could think about was her mouth and how her lips would looked stretched around his—
“We’re on time still, right?” she asked.
He had to clear his throat to answer. “Yeah.” Jesus.
The door slid shut and silence filled the elevator while they stared at each other. To keep his hands to himself, he backed to the wall.
“So,” she said, looking like she was mentally cracking her knuckles. “What are the rules here? Kiss ass? Sit, shake, and roll over on command? Tell everyone how you saved my life? Obey your every order?”
Her sarcasm helped him roll his tongue back into his mouth. “I will ask you to kiss someone’s ass never,” he said. “Same for sit and shake and roll over. And you know damn well I didn’t save your life. But as for the obeying me? That. Lots of that would be great.”

Wow!  What a roller-coaster ride!  There were times I found myself chewing my fingernails at the rapid paced action.  Thankfully that was tempered by the hot romance going on between Angel and Tonio or I would have gone up in flames.  This was a well written gritty romantic suspense novel with the perfect bad guy and the perfect couple.  Of course the Sugarland Blue crew is there and once again convey the feeling that they have worked and cared about each other for years.  Those are the kind of ensemble based novels I love the best.  Well done except that now I have to wait for the next installment.

I wish I could score this higher than a 5 because I am still lost in this book and can’t let go.  It hit every one of my buttons and emotions so that I was laughing one minute and crying the next.  I had to get up and walk around a few times to get myself under control in order to continue.  All the BDB characters were there to back up the Shadows and deal with their own problems in true Brotherhood fashion.  I cannot be more specific on the story as it is something you must go through yourself.  All I will say is life isn’t always perfect, crap happens and even books should be realistic on showing that things don’t always work out the way we want and show the strength of character to face adversity. Suffice it to say, it is a book to remember and I loved it all.  The story wove several viewpoints seamlessly and opened the way to her new series which I think I’m going to like.  It also touched on Xcor and Layla’s ongoing struggles but none of that overshadowed Trez and iAm’s story.  I will be rereading this book and anxiously awaiting the next installment.

The book description may seem a slight clichéd, but believe me it isn’t.  Their former relationship ended anything but normal which made their love story all the more exciting.  It took me a little bit to warm up to Cole but because of what happened and how things progressed, it’s clear she has the strength of character needed to match Scott and anything thrown at them.  The sexual tension and hot romance was blended well with the back story so that it flowed seamlessly and seemed realistic in the timing.  I’m glad the danger wasn’t in your face all the time but instead showed you what it’s like in the feast or famine of undercover work.  Don’t get me wrong, I was flipping pages as fast as I could to see what would happen.  Finally I will say I love the dog aspect of this series and the newness it brings.  I can only imagine what the next book will be like.

I loved this installment of the Shifters Unbound series.  It added a different perspective with the addition of the ‘monster’ and another character that keeps you guessing until the end.  I really couldn’t figure out what tightened my chest more, the love and hot romance or the danger that surrounded them.  This book was a great blending of people you come to love, care about people you didzn’t really like and hate the bad guys.  I thoroughly enjoyed this ride.

I was looking forward to this re-worked version of the Crows and truly enjoyed it.  While it added a bit more depth to the backstory it also lacked a little of the lighthearted fun from The Gathering.  I’ll warn you that the beginning was a bit chaotic and it took me a little bit to settle into the story.  That being said, I had fun reading it.  The snarky biting humor of the Crows emphasizes the crazy situations they find themselves in.  As with all her books, there is a burning hot romance to balance out the ongoing battles.  Kera of course had trouble adapting to her new reality but Mr. Perfect Vig was there for her in every way possible.  I hope I don’t have to wait very long for the next book in this series!

I really enjoyed this anthology. It had it all from contemporary to paranormal romance with everything in between. WALKING THE LINE was all about taking chances on life and love. It is a nice hot little romance. AMAZED BY YOU is a hot little number about finding that love is what makes life worth living and that sometimes you get a second chance. ONE LITTLE KISS tugged at my heart strings with its heartfelt story that blended well with the sexy romance. BIG BAD RED is a quirky paranormal romance and was a sexy fun read. LUCK OF THE IRISH is a hot story about a leprechaun of all things and I loved it. I think I’ll go look for my own mirror now. SOMETHING BORROWED is an all-around feel-good romance that made me smile over and over. A great way to end this anthology! The length of each story was perfect. I would read and then do a little housework before reading the next one. I loved it!
