Angus and Tamsin proved to be a fun couple on the run from the Bureau and shifters alike. Just when you think a storyline or trope has been overdone – a story is told with enough freshness to sweep you along for the ride. It fulfilled all my wants on a romance; A hateful villain, smoldering romance, favorite characters stepping in to help and an unexpected resolution to ensure the happily ever after. I had a good time reading this.

Donna review 4.5 stars

This romantic suspense was full of steady action while introducing us to a new K-9 team in Hawaii. I’m glad the team introductions and new locale didn’t bog down the story at all. They were all fun and distinct personalities that hold the door open for more fun stories to come. I liked Raul right away and his dog, Taz is great! Mali was relatable and easy to like as well. The story showcased her smart and intuitive nature while still giving her a vulnerability that worked nicely with the romance. The heat factor was pretty tame until the very end, so it would appeal to those who like their romances on the lighter side as well. Loved it.

I had so much fun reading this novel. The heart-pounding action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. The sizzling romance between Luke and Sally ratcheted it up another notch. A few aspects seemed a bit improbable, but it made for an exciting read. Luke and Sally were both likeable, as was the people around them. I like when the camaraderie flows, so that you feel a part of it. Loved it and can’t wait to read the next one.

Donna review 4.5 stars

I loved that Assail and Marisol got their story told, and wish more time was spent on their romance…it was lovely and heartwarming. However, this book was more of a V and Jane/Marisol and Assail novel. Revisiting a couple after they’ve had their HEA isn’t one of my favorite things, but it was romantic and nicely done. V is one of my favorite characters after all. Previously, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the new danger facing the brotherhood, somehow this book calmed down my WTH skepticism…we’ll see how it progresses. Overall, I loved the sexy and action filled book. The ending has me impatient for the next one.

Wow! What a wild ride through this action-packed story. I knew Tanner and Zarina warranted a doozy of a book and it did not disappoint! I wish it had more romantic moments, but I suppose it would have seemed gratuitous with everything else going on. Even though this is an obvious set-up for a new series arc, it did not cheat us out of anything with the characters we love – for that I am thankful. It was a thrilling rollercoaster ride with new characters to cheer on. I especially love the new cop, Chase. He and Tate were so much fun. I can’t wait until the next book!

This is book one in a 4-book series, each installment written by a different author. I enjoyed the mystery and suspense in this light romance. Although there was an aspect that was specific to Felicity, the underlying intrigue will follow the series. The story is set on an Air Force base. I liked that it wasn’t bogged down in acronyms and jargon that most wouldn’t understand, yet you knew where you were. Felicity and Westley were a nice couple who clung to their religious beliefs to get them through the tough times. I don’t normally read faith-based books, but it was not the central focus of the novel. I liked quick read and look forward to reading the next book.

I enjoyed this romance. Jackson was wonderful and had me swooning for him. I’m still on the fence with Olivia since I didn’t start to like her until about half way through, even then I wondered why he fell for her in the first place. I did love Olivia and Jackson’s friends, hoping they have books in the future. They all gave a sense of true, long-term friendships that pulled me into the story and community. I want more. Overall, it is a lovely, sexy little romance.

I enjoyed this book. It was full of suspenseful danger and a who-done-it mystery that kept you guessing until the end. I liked Josh and was rooting for his happily-ever-after, but sadly, I didn’t quite take to Macki until about 2/3 of the way through the story. She was a bit witchy and some of her actions were rather improbably considering her background and the clear danger around her. The romance is not graphic, so those that like their romantic suspense on the tame side – this is a good fit for you. I couldn’t put it down and look forward to the next installment.

I enjoyed the story and the crazy sisters. At first I wasn’t sure how I liked them overshadowing the established hard-assed characters I’ve grown to love…but it was fun. Though fewer in number, the MacKilligan girls reminded me a bit of the Jean-Louis Parker family with less histrionics. Not to say they don’t have their share, it’s just tempered with a few tender and understanding bears. This promises to be a fun spin-off series full of sexy mayhem.

I enjoyed Rya Stone’s debut novel. I did wish Jase’s thoughts were more clearly explained sooner in the story. His behavior and romantic intention toward Cassie may have flowed easier for me. That being said, he was a macho-sexy man with a mysterious threat that kept dogging him and his brother. Cassie’s motivation was much easier to understand, as well as her attraction to the sexy roughneck. CAUGHT UP is a hot romantic suspense with a nice teaser for book two.
