I love Julie James’s books and this one was no exception. She has a great writing style that is easy to read. It sucked me in right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Sidney and Vaughn meet in a coffee shop and Sidney writes him off as a typical bachelor playboy, but then she finds out her sister is marrying his brother and they will be spending quite a lot of time together. The sparks fly between these two, but since Sidney has her checklist in what she is looking for in a man and Vaughn doesn’t meet the her requirements, she decides Vaughn will be a perfect Mr. Right Now as she waits to meet Mr. Forever. The sparks ignite and I couldn’t wait to see where this would go as they continued to insist they were only a temporary thing. Sidney continues looking for Mr. Forever, not even considering Vaughn might be the guy for her. I loved their story and I highly recommend this romance book.

like he did it every single day, he stepped inside the steamy bathroom.
“Think I need a shower, too,” he said, his fingers easing off his football practice shirt.
What? Now?
Trying to play it cool and failing miserably, I moved my eyes off his naked chest and checked out his track pants and the obvious bulge he sported.
Oh.
Did his lower body match the rest of him? Was it all sinewy muscle and big?
Just, yeah. That thought got stuck in my head and went round and round.
“You staying?” he asked, a grin working his face. Pleased at my open admiration, probably.
“No,” I said, but made no move to go. ‘Cause I had no shame when it came to catching a glimpse of his muscular body.
“Good,” he said, his smile broadening.
He pivoted to turn on the shower, and my eyes betrayed me again, admiring the muscles in his back, checking out how they twitched and rippled when he moved. Football and rowing had been good to him. My fingers itched to know how they’d feel underneath my hands. Which was stupid because we had nothing in common. Not a rich Highland Park boy and a poor girl from Ratcliffe.
And most importantly, he was a player, not to be trusted.
He hooked his thumbs into his pants, paused a moment—maybe waiting to see if I’d run from the room?—but when I didn’t budge, he slid them and his underwear off. My mouth opened. Cuba Hudson, the most popular guy at Briarcrest was standing right in front of me, naked and beautiful. And like the cocky bastard he was, he posed for me, his big-ass
biceps and chiseled abs making me vibrate all over. Need for him slammed into me.
Did I say he was hot?
Well, I was wrong.
He was off-the-charts, no-holds-barred, freaking going make-me-lose-my-mind-right-there delicious. The ultimate man-candy, the kind I knew to stay away from, yet here I was, ogling him.

His eyes burned. “There’s a sense of urgency in my head. Like our time is limited.”
I nodded. Yeah, same here.
“And, I’ll be honest, I don’t want to rush you, but I’m dying to sink into you. I want to set you on fire with need for me.” He ghosted his hands over the steel rod between his legs. Once, twice, and—holy shizzle, he didn’t stop.
My chest rose faster and faster, and I tried to chill-out, but I couldn’t.
He lowered his voice. “Kiss me again, Dovey.”
Oh. “That’s a terrible idea, Cuba. Cause you’re naked, and I’m turned on because you’re naked. And you’re touching yourself. And you’re

I loved Very Wicked Things! It is the second book in The Briarcrest Academy Series by Ilsa Madden-Mills. Ilsa debuted her first book, Very Bad Things, last year and it ended up being one of my favorites of 2013. I couldn’t wait for the second book to release and it did not disappoint! I devoured it and it will be on my favorites list for 2014. Ilsa has a great writing style that flows and she draws the reader into the story with her dynamic characters. I loved Cuba and Dovey. They both have a damaged past and their relationship was explosive and complex. Very Wicked Things was exciting, emotional and a sexy romance. I highly recommend this book and this series for new adult romance lovers and I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. Ilsa Madden-Mills is on my must buy list.

I loved Salvaged! Salvaged is the second book in Brenda Tetreault’s hot paranormal series, The Nightshade Series. Salvaged is Caius and Wren’s story. Caius first appears in the first book as a potential villain, but we find out why he is the way he is in Salvaged and I fell in love with him. As the son of Cupid, Caius has the ability to make any women fall in love with his and he uses this abilities by making it his mission to use and break as many hearts as he can after his own heart is broken by his wife, Wren. When they come back together it’s explosive. Their story is explosive, emotional, and scorching hot. Brenda Tetreault has created an exciting and unique paranormal world with this series and she is an author to watch. Caine, my favorite character in the series, is next and he will finally get his book with Gaela. Their story starts in the first book and continues throughout the series. I highly recommend this series for paranormal lovers looking for a sexy new paranormal romance series. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book!

Brenda Tetreault grew up on the southern Oregon coast. This is the first Beth Kery book I’ve read and I’m hooked! I’ve already bought the first 3 books and they’re waiting on my kindle app for me. Since I Saw You is the fourth book in the Because You Are Mine Series, but each book can be read as a stand alone. I loved Kam! He’s a sexy mix of reclusive genius and hot alpha male. Kam and Lin’s story was explosive. Lin is woman who always plans everything down to the last detail and is always fully in control. Kam’s erotic dominance and demands break down all her walls and inhabitations. I really enjoyed their story and recommend this book for anyone looking for a well written and scorching hot erotica romance.

“I thought you were sleeping,” she said softly, her voice thick with relaxation.
“I’m awake.”
She turned her head fully and saw his stare on her. He certainly was. His facial muscles looked relaxed in comparison to how rigid they’d been when he’d been inside her—pounding, pulsing, demanding—but his gaze was sharp and alert. He kept her hand in his grasp and moved it to her waist, his arm draping her.
“You may have fried half my brain cells just now, but I don’t want to sleep. Not yet,” he muttered thickly in his rough, French-accented voice. Her heart throbbed back to life. Had there been a thread of suggestiveness in his tone? He moved the pad of his thumb over her wrist in a gentle quest. “I wanted you so much, I never got a chance to appreciate you. I was too busy combusting.”
She swallowed, feeling the weight of her pearls on her Adam’s apple.
“I certainly felt appreciated,” she assured.
A smile flickered across his lips as he continued to touch her wrist. “Still, it was hardly a savoring experience. More like a gorge-fest.”
She returned his grin, warmed by the laughter in his eyes. The pad of his thumb moved subtly on her wrist.
“Are you feeling my pulse? When you touch me there?” she murmured.
Their faces were only inches apart. She could clearly see the black ring that surrounded his irises and flecks of midnight in the silvery-gray of his eyes. His eyelashes were surprisingly thick for a man, further highlighting his magnetic gaze.
“Yes.”
“You’re using your knowledge of biology, the same knowledge you used to make your biofeedback mechanisms, in order to read me?”
“The human body has a language all its own,” he said, still feathering her pulse with his thumb. “It’s usually more honest than the kind that comes out of a person’s mouth.”
“What’s my body telling you right now?” she whispered, unable to stop herself from asking.
His gaze moved slowly down over her chest. She felt his stare on her breasts like a touch. She shifted restlessly an inch or two, increasing her contact with his body. Her shoulder pressed against a dense pectoral muscle. She inhaled deeply, making her breasts rise. Her nipples tightened beneath his weighty stare.
“The leap in your pulse along with the increase in your muscle tension could mean anxiety. Or it could mean you’re heating again.”
He glanced up into her face and caught the burn in her cheeks. His gaze had grown heavy-lidded, somehow both satiated and aroused at once.
Heating again. How aptly put.
“In combination with the rest of the signs,” he said with a quick glance at her erect nipples, “I’d opt for the latter, though. Am I right?”
She licked at her lower lip nervously. “I think it might mean both anxiety and . . . the other thing.”
He released her wrist and cupped her waist, his large, warm hand and long fingers stretching from back to belly.
“What are you anxious about?” he growled softly.
“I don’t think Ian would approve of this, for one.”
His nostrils flared slightly. “He sent you to me, didn’t he? What right has he got to complain if we like each other? What’s it got to do with him?”
