When he looked out of the driver’s side window he was surprised to see the airstrip beside them. He’d been so lost in his thoughts he hadn’t noticed the distance they’d covered. Evo must have sensed his mood because he’d kept quiet for the last part of the journey which Michael was grateful for. He suddenly felt bad for feeling irritated by him, he hadn’t deserved it.

Now Michael was back to being aware of his surroundings, he realised there was another reason he was glad he’d been preoccupied by his inner-turmoil over Lacy: Evo’s musical taste hadn’t improved in their time apart. “What the hell is this you’re listening to?”

Evo shot him a look of utter bemusement, like Michael was supposed to know who the female country singer coming out of the stereo was. “It’s Faith Hill. . . What? She’s talented.”

“Jeez buddy. As soon as we get back, I’m buying you some new music.” Thank God they were nearly there. He needed a distraction and fast.

After checking the arrival time on the information screen−to make sure Evo’s woman’s plane would be landing on time−the two men walked through the small airport towards the arrivals lounge. They still had a little time until the plane was in so Michael ordered a coffee-to-go from the Wild Bean kiosk in the corner. They took a seat near the window.

“I have a feeling this Varesh is going to be a piece of work.” Evo said, as he removed his sunglasses. It was the middle of October, and they were expecting snow any time, but Evo was always wearing those damned wraparounds no matter what. Usually only took them off at night when his vision was restricted.

AUTHOR BIO:
L.J. Sealey was born and raised in a little Welsh town by the sea. It rains a lot, so she often has a great excuse to sit at her writing desk and while away the hours at her laptop.

She still lives in N.Wales and when she’s not travelling around the country working with her husband – who is a professional singer – or singing backup vocals herself, she likes to read and watch her favourite TV shows which normally includes plenty of CSI, The Vampire Diaries and endless amounts of sitcoms. Being addicted to reading about vampires, demons, shifters and angels, she has always had a thing for all things paranormal and is a big sucker for impossible love stories. So it was inevitable that when she started writing herself she would mix the two together.

REVIEW:

A secret government laboratory is conducting experiments on paranormals and the paranormals aren’t there by choice. This storyline has been done quite a bit for my taste, but Burn For Me still managed to keep me on the edge of my seat and the adrenaline pumping. Eve and Cain were a well matched couple that you couldn’t help but root for and their romance was hot. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough and I even let the phone ring without answering. I also liked that secondary characters were written in such a way as to let us know there will be more stories coming. This was a well written, pulse pumping story and I can’t wait to read the next one.

REVIEW:

This smoking hot paranormal romance had all the aspects of the Carpathian novels we have grown to love. The danger and intrigue at times left me breathless, but that was tempered well with the love and friendship loaded on the pages. This story also had a fun group of friends that I believed had been together for years. I enjoyed Skyler’s strength and determination that was clearly shown without ever losing her softness. Dimitri was perfect for her and the romance flowed smoothly. All in all a well written story that was very hard to put down and I am still lost in their world.

REVIEW:
Born in Blood is the first book in Alexandra Ivy’s exciting new paranormal romance series and was a great start to the series. I loved it! This book is full of action, danger, and steamy romance. Alexandra Ivy created an exciting and seductive new world with Sentinels, who are humans with special abilities. I loved the main characters, Duncan the sexy detective, and Callie, a gifted Sentinel. There were a lot of secondary characters that captured my attention as well. Now I’m hooked and this series will be on my must buy list. I can not wait to see what else she has in store for us in this series. I recommend this series for paranormal romance lovers.

REVIEW:
I loved this installment of the Nightwalker series. Leo, vulnerable, but with the strength and courage that makes a girl swoon and Faith with a tender caring heart along with the soul of a warrior. I am enjoying the Egyptian theme that also combines various other paranormal references. It had it all: Suspense, danger, excitement, lust, humor and of course hot romance. I would have scored it a 5, but Leo protected his heart a few pages too long for me. Ms. Frank knows how to reel a reader in and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

I loved King Cave! This it’s the second book in The Forever Evermore series. I got caught up and pulled back into the mystical world of Vampires, Mages, Shifters and Elementals of King Hall. King Cave picks up where King Hall left off and the new kings are thrown into battle. King Cave is full of more danger, loss, emotion, friendship and love. I was kept on edge and couldn’t put the book down. Scarlett Dawn creates such a vivid and unique world that draws she reader in so you feel like you are in the story. As with King Hall there is an ending that left me on edge and wanting more, but it just makes me want to get the next book as soon as it comes out. The first book had steamy sexual situations, but there were not any sex scenes. King Cave completely heats up and has some scorching sex scenes. I highly recommend this book and this series! I loved it and can not wait to see what Scarlett Dawn has in store for us in the next book.

REVIEW:

A friend of mine has been bugging me to read this series for quite some time so I finally gave in and read book one. It took me a little bit to get into the new world of Valkyries, vampires and Lykae, but once I was there, I got hooked and I can’t wait to read about the other characters mentioned. The Valkyries are a hoot, being both ruthless and a bit clueless. The way they banter with each other was nothing short of fun. The romance part was nice in that Emmaline, a Valkyrie/vampire, learned to be strong and Lachlain, King of the Lykae, learned to be gentle as they worked through their differences and prejudices. His seduction was fun to read, but I did wish it moved a little faster. When they finally did get together, the sparks flew and made it well worth the wait. I also appreciated that no one breed is really bad. Like in life, there are good guys, bad guys and best of all, those that you just aren’t sure about. It’s those characters that now have me purchasing the rest of the series.

This is one of my favorite series and I recommend grabbing the box set if you haven’t read the series because you’re going to want to read them back to back. You’ll fall in love with Barrons! Now for those that love hot paranormal series you’ll love this one, but I’d also recommend it for people who normally wouldn’t pick up a paranormal. I got my mother to read this series and she isn’t much of a romance or paranormal lover yet she was completely captivated by this story because it’s just such a unique plot that completely transports the reader into another world. It captures and holds your attention throughout the entire series. Love it! /Cori

Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander Series goes with the Fever Series. Some of the Highlander Series characters are in the Fever series so I would recommend reading The Highlander books first. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading them in order. Each book in this series is a love story about a different couple and has a HEA ending.
