Wow! This book was the best yet in Maya Bank’s highlander series! Genevieve has endured hell at the hands of Ian McHugh and her spirit has been crushed. She has lost all hope when Bowen Montgomery takes over the McHugh Clan. He falls in love with Genevieve’s spirit and beauty and in doing so heals her soul. I just loved this story! A woman who goes through hell but doesn’t let it break her and a hero that stands up for her and puts her happiness above his own. Loved it!

Review:
I love Lara Adrian’s Breeds. Edge of Dawn is set in the future where Mira and Kellan are all grown up. Mira loved Kellan since she was a child. I really loved reading about the original breed’s children. Mira is now a captain In the order and she is out for revenge against the rebels who she believes took the love of her life. Lara Adrian’s breed world is amazing and I highly recommend this book.

I am never disappointed when I read anything Cynthia Eden writes! Loved the suspense in this new book. Who doesn’t love a hot and protective cop? I read this straight through. Couldn’t put it down because I had to read what would happen next!

Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright…Oh My! Loved it! $.99 for a steamy shifter romance book! Can’t wait for the next one that will be released in April. This is a great way to check out the authors if you haven’t read them. I love Alexandra Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity and Laura Wright’s Mark of the Vampire series.

Loved it! I’ve missed Jennifer Lyon! I loved her Winged Slayer Hunter series. This book is part of a new series she started that will be 3 books. The ending left me really wanting the next book! Sloane is a hot alpha hero that is an ex UFC fighter and he now owns a chain of gyms. I thought Kat was a great female character. She is learning to protect herself after surviving an attack in her past. She doesn’t want to be dependent on a man. These two have smoking hot chemistry when they come together! This is a super steamy romance with a great plot. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a sexy romance book. I can’t wait for the next book!

I adore Shelly Laurenston! Her characters are always quirky, unique and fun! We got to see a lot of old characters in this book and it was fun to see updates on her characters. Highly recommend this book! I have yet to be disappointed when reading one of Laurenston’s books:)

Lauren Dane – Lush

This is the 3rd book in series. I think the series needs to read in order to understand the other characters. I liked the book, but not my favorite. I’ve read all of Lauren Dane’s books and this one was good but not her best. Lots of character conflict. I thought Mary could have given a little more without focusing soooo much on her career as a chef. While they characters had some chemistry I thought it just seemed forced. It was a fun little contemporary romance read though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast-paced addition to the STAT series. Right off I was pulled into the mystery and danger the team had to defuse. The introduction of unknown supernaturals made their mission more difficult, while giving the reader a good time.

I was looking forward to seeing how the author would go about finding Caleb’s mate, hoping it was a good match because he deserved it. Brielle is that woman. Yes, I thought there was more to her than being one of the bad guys in book two but was pleased to learn more about her. She is strong and intelligent, yet not cocky. A perfect combination to make me like her and become invested in their relationship. I liked watching them interact and the sweet way they grew together.

As always, I’m a sucker for books that involve a group…when it is done well. STAT is one of the good ones. The pack dynamic is full of banter and the caring only a close-knit group has. The kind that makes me wish I were a part of it all. I enjoyed the storyline, the globetrotting and battles kept me glued to the pages wondering what would happen next. However, there were a few instances that pulled me out of the book because the situation was so improbable due to the location and proximity of humans. I quickly recovered to read on and follow this romantic and sexy wild ride. I can’t wait to see who is up next, and what evil they will face.
